I love my peaceful sundays

If there is a day of the week that I love it is Sunday.  The peaceful of that day is so addictive that I crave it over and over again until it comes, then again as soon as it comes it passes just as fast then its back to work.  I usually try to avoid doing anything crazy or work related on Sunday’s, it my day of peace and to turn of the world.  Here are 3 things I make Sundays wonderful.

1. I cook a tasty meal that day, and usually only that day and wash it down with a nice glass of wine to bring peace to my taste buds.
2. I watch my HBO shows on Sundays because the best one’s comes on in the night such as: Entourage, True Blood, Sopranos and etc.
3. Its just a day people usually mind their own business.  So you expect peace and quite, unless you a noisy church goer who gossips about this person and that person.

Anyways those are my some of my lovely things that goes down on my favorite day of the week.

Its Like The Weather Literally Wanted To Fight Me

I mean I just had to make a bank run and pay some bills, and boy oh boy this new york snow to rain to FLOOD was epic.  I even popped out the boots I haven’t worn in like 4 years, (ok, I am lying) the boots I haven’t worn since last winter to be comfortable and stomp through to make 3 bank runs.  Gosh I hate residue of snow and the rain, ewwww.  Either way, you  should have seen me prep to leave the house, I was like a boxer, all breathing hard and keeping looking outside to see if the bully is out there to beat me up, and walking back and forth wondering if I can do it or not.  But like a champion I went out there in the snow rain with the heavy floods and beanstalk tall puddles, I stomp my way through to the banks and even grab some grub on the way home.  Now I am all wet, and happy to be back in the house, I decided to write this blog.  Now its time to feast on this grub and play some ps3 Need For Speed Hot Pursuit and some Fifa 2011 then into some Netflix, and enjoy my dry and cozy self.  New York, I will remember the horror you put me through just for a bank run on January 18, 2011.  You better watch your back.

Its Martin Luther King Jr. Day – I Have A Dream

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and he is known for the famous speech of “I Have A Dream“.  He is also known for so much more in this world and help changing the politics of black men and women in America and is greatly noted for it.  I just want to thank him for it and wish everyone a Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

PS: Oh yea I have a dream too, I actually wrote a song/poem from like 3 years ago in dedication to his most famous speech, but unfortunately it’s not finished or ready for the world, but when I its I will gladly update this post and also share it with the world.
