People You Party With vs People You Do Business With

I am neccessaritly the guy you party with, because that’s really not my type of scene, I am more of a laid back casual, humorous person, that takes things in and think outside the box.  I am definitely the guy you do business with though, the one with the manager skills, the fine details, the creative approach and dedication to see things through to success.  Some people can’t break the two.  It’s just a different crowd for different reasons, entertainment and business.

Just like how they say you shouldn’t hire family for business matters, because they might bring you down, by not taking it serious and cutting corners, well that’s almost the same effect here.  You might play ball with the hustlers on the corner, but you wouldn’t invite in your house for a cup of tea and talk stocks, (unless he might be Stringer Bell from “The Wire“) because if two different elements.  You might knock out a big account merger with Mike from accounting, but you won’t want to invite dude to go hunting, extreme skating or riding bmx in the woods, because you are not sure how they will perform in a opposite setting.

I am not writing to say, that it’s not possible for both set of people won’t mix and match in both opposite settings or to stereotype different types of people, but more likely mentioning, in a sensible world or notion, what makes for better sense and better results.  Sometimes you can’t mix and match.

The real reward of independence and for self is when you can claim a room of one’s own.  We go through life, from infant to teen, then from young adults to being elder in the attempt to be on our own, in which is a symbol of growth.  What we acquire throughout our lives shows our self-worth, and one of the main things we try to aim for is a place to call our own.  We pick up many other things along the way such a convictions, religion, belief, money, love, pride, respect, and other material things, but when you are in charge and have the freedom to make decisions in any which case is a very powerful thing.

Many people go through this world, not being able to accomplish this one goal, because of the odd balls life may throw our way, but still we try to keeping pushing.  Some of us are not as strong will as others and may stumble a lot more than other, but if we can have it, we would all want A Room of One’s Own.

I myself is working on having a room of my own, a place of freedom to create and live a satisfying and fun life.  As much as achieving this may take a bit longer than I thought, I still strive for victory that one day after all my hard work I will be able to gain this proud and live changing achievement.

I came upon this title of this post based a book of the same title I had to read (was supposed to read) in my freshman year of college at Lehman College (Women In Literature Class) and I never once forgot the title because I knew of a great worth of knowledge and literature that would be within the walls of this book.  Now that I think about it, I still own the book after 7 years, and might be aiming to give it a thorough read very soon, and add that to my list of books I should I read long ago, but will read now.

I pass them here, I pass them there, I pass them everywhere.  Women all around the world are SEXY.  This one is sexy, that one is sexy, she over there is sexy, and her friend is sexy too, they are so darn sexy.  I want this sexy one, I want that sexy one, I want all the sexy ones (ok, maybe I am a bit greedy).  I just love sexy women.  So no matter what you do, be sexy ladies by being yourself.  Natural beauty and sexiness, is what I live to see.

Remember to be true to yourself, that’s the secret to true sexiness.
