Any way I say it, It will never sound cool to you

I am a guy with a creative mind,
No matter what I say my delivery is never on time,
All I need is time and space to stake my case,
For if I say the wrong words to you, you won’t be able to erase.

Have you ever tried to answer someone quickly but end up saying the wrong thing, then who ever you said it to seem never let it go no matter how many times you try to take it back?
