New Rule: “No Food In The Room”…seriously

Food for Life distributes food on an internati...

I have just implied a new rule in my household…”NO FOOD IN THE ROOM“.  I have come under the impression that I am being watched.  It’s a creepy feeling that someone or something is watching me for food to be dropped around in the room and it’s interfering with my blogging and home office environment.  I have enforced STRICT penalties for food being eaten and left around in the room/office.

Here are the strict penalties to be enforced:
1. Said person is to be fined a $1.00 for breaking rule
2. Said person shall be beaten with a whip or pillow (depending on what’s in the pillow)
3. Said person is to immediately perform 20 pushups.
4. Said person shall be PUNCHED super HARD, 10 times.
*if offense is repeated, the penalty fine goes up to $3, then $5 and pushups goes up by quantity of 5 intervals, as well as punches.

This is not just a warning…It’s a PROMISE.

*note: to be honest though, let’s keep a clear and clean room and be tidy.  It’s to keep away rodents, germs, smells and much more for your resting or for me my work space.  I like strict rules, for it stops the act from continuing.  It’s just the way I like to do things.
I have started the rule couple times before and never fully went to extremes to keep it going.

Do you have to imply this rule yourself?  Do you have strict penalties as me?
Let me know what you think…

Phone Number: When That Money Calls Then Everything Goes On Hold

Rapper Wiz Khalifa performing at Columbia Univ...

The title of this blog post comes from one of my favorite songs of the moment by the Brooklyn new york rapper, “Fabolous” titled “Phone Number” off his 2011 mixtape, “The S.O.U.L. Tape“.

I am referring to this song by the fact of today, my job called me in to work. Some people on their days off refuse to answer their phone if their job calls them in to work, but not me. When money calls pretty much, because you are getting paid to work, I am definitely picking up. I absolutely value money and its effect on getting things done in life. Not only just money, but the feeling of working and contributing to a good notion of providing service to others.

One last thing, I believe that the more you work and the quality work you do, raises your value to potentially make more money. The funny thing about that also is there is an artist called Wiz Khalifa. and he has a song also which is called “Phone Number” (Cabin Fever Mixtape) originally the title of the song “Fabolous” remade the song from. Wiz has his own spin on the song, with a cool chorus that goes, “When I get paid my checks be looking like phone numbers”. The way this applies, is that I work hard everyday until one day my check will look like numbers. Pay checks in the millions would be a great achievement.

If it is your day off and your job calls do you pick up? Do you one day wish your check paychecks look like phone numbers?

How I Hate My Brother

http://www.flickr.com/photos/acain/3249887773/

You ever have this one annoying person that just be there, in your face and just makes a lot of noise?  Well that is my brother, annoying as hell.  Ever since a young pup, this guy just been following me around, wanting to do the things that I do, gosh so weird of a felling.  I mean it might be cool to have a younger brother, but not when this young guy has grown up.  Now he wants to one up you on things, laugh at you when you fall (literally laugh when you fall, I was walking down my hallway in the pitch dark one day and something toggle my pants and I fell on the floor and here he comes busting through the door laughing with the lights on. so terrible), and he even get’s weird by just staring at you for no reason and expects you to react to feed his ego that he broke your concentration.

That brother of mine is something else.  He can really annoy a cool laid back guy as myself and then at the same time be the coolest person to talk to and crack a cool joke with as he is almost just like you.  From wanting to be like you to being their own person, is it me or is it that I hate me if he is like me?  Nah, he is just annoying as hell.  I hate to love him, this annoying guy…the funny thing is I told him I am writing how much I hate him, and he going to try to mess with my keyboard while I am trying to type my blog.  Wait until I catch him around the way playing some cool computer game or playing angry birds on his iPod touch, I am going to be his annoying person. 🙂

Are you the oldest of your siblings?  Do you have an annoying brother or sister?
