To Be Seen In The Light

I cant see me all the time,
I simply wont let you,
For not everything I do is a spectacle,
There are things about me you need not discover,
So cover eyes and peek at my disguise,
The light,
The light that I shine in your eyes so bright they open wide,
But at same time you want to close them,
For what you see is not what you want to gaze upon,
You want to uncover my secrets ways,
In which part the days that at dark you dream upon,
I wont let you see,
There is no purpose or need,
So I am just going to keep shining this light,
So you see what I want you to see, in which me,
In a light of which is the best part of me.

Do others only want to see you in your negative state and avoid the positive?
In what light do you want to be seen?
