    I remind myself that we’re all in this crazy world together, trying to figure it out. I try to have compassion, while guarding myself at the same time, against people’s insanity, anger, meanness, etc.

    When I realize that other people have their own battles, it makes me less paranoid and less hostile toward them. But I still don’t allow people to involve me in their madness. Take care…
