Take the lead,
Show me the ropes,
All I have is hope,
To make it far,
Where people say I won’t,
I will follow you.

A motto to follow your dreams and thoughts, for not everyone can see the direction you are going an  understand

  1. I like this, Richardo. It’s so true. It’s hard to lead all of the time…it’s nice to hope to be with someone who can lead with you. This made me think of how messy relationships can get when others compete instead of support each other, or if one person wants to achieve but it is not in the other’s heart.

    On that note, here’ s poem I wrote last night ;p though I’d share it with you

    How dare you try and hold my hand
    When you’ve treated me that way
    Pointed out flaws
    Made me bawl
    Because the guilt you put in me
    Is directly reflective of your own insecurities
    I am guilty by association
    With you
    Because you project your confusion
    Onto me
    I’ve been treated before
    by a gentleman
    or a man, or a gentle boy
    But you are none of these,
    Not gentle nor strong,
    Not solid nor whole.
    Don’t turn me into the eggshells that you walk on
    Every time you try to self-discover
    Because by the time you do,
    In the unattainable future,
    You will have lost me
    And finally respected me
