Dear Touch Screen Android Device, You Suck At Texting

Dunce Cap
Dunce Cap

As a blogger and writer I tend to write a lot.  I write ideas, I write song lyrics, I write my to do list.  But if I am writing and the device is doing a whole another function (such as my new HTC EVO 3D is) I will get nowhere and will be very productive even messing with writing in this darn device.  Sensitive keys, and buttons and misspell words in not a good thing for a professional, a blogger and a writer.  Even though they say write like there is no tomorrow and worry about correcting and rereading later, that is definitely not the case when you know exactly what you are trying and going to write and the darn device is writing a whole bunch of foolishness.

I have just upgraded from my blackberry bold about a week and a half ago, leaving behind my lovely full keyboard, and nice and comfy feel in my hands for typing fast and accurate to be in the now with the new hotness of 4G service, Android Apps, 3D Camera, Camcorder and 3D movies, Netflix App, Front & Rear facing camera, and couple more added features.  If I wasn’t a total all around media and tech guy, I would have never sacrifice my sanity to write lightening fast and know each key I press is exactly what I wanted to press.

Being a blogger and write a new post everyday and most of the time on the go in which my creative ideas strike me the most, it’s quite important my smart phone is precise in helping me be more productive and precise is doing my daily functions.  Is that too much to ask?  I know everyone out there are bloggers and writers feel on this matter having to typing in perfect grammar with touch screen phones.  If the keyboard was very more responsible and accurate there would be little room for grammar errors and ghetto abbreviations and a million smiley faces and “LOL‘s”.

Though it may seem like I am ranting and possibly sounding like a NOOB at touchscreen phones, you show me a person who NEVER made an error when TYPING on a touchscreen phone I would have to call that person a damn liar, come on be serious.

Let’s stop the unprofessional-ism and terrible grammar errors in our writings and hope for better software and much accurate motion pressing on our device to live a better and simpler life.  Shout out to the iPhone, one of the best touch keyboard device on the market.  I know, I know you hate the iPhone…That’s why I am have an EVO 3D with Android…ummm the iPhone is still like the “dopest” though, I am just saying.

C’mon let’s stop making people look so STUPID and DUNCE.

What do you think about touch screen keyboard phones?  Are you a blogger or writer than runs into the same problems such as myself?

I broke up with my girlfriend, now I’m on one? [Part 2] – The iPhone the BEST phone in the World?

I am so sorry to have confused anyone reading my blog about my part one post of [I broke up with my girlfriend, now I’m on one?] yesterday based on what was written.  I am test writing in a creative style to see if anyone could have decode my true words.  Let’s clear up couple of things first :).  I have a Blackberry Bold and I consider my phone my girlfriend.  It’s weird huh?  Well men call their cars or best things a woman name or baby or something special in which I have done with my blackberry.  My blackberry in my hands can do a millions things via I am a very highly tech savvy guy.  When I use any gadgets, I use them to their full potential and even beyond.  The blackberry does that for me in my life.  It keeps me grounded, organized, helps my last-minute post to WordPress at 11:55pm at night to execute a post before 12am.  I love this device.

I think this is possible via it’s keyboard and the how it manages your media and so quick to access certain features.  It’s beats the iPhone and Android touch screens phone in that functionality.  Here is what the problem I was having.  I had my blackberry for quite sometime and I wanted to get a new smartphone to be up to the times.  So you say why not get another Blackberry?  Well I would have but Rim the company that makes the blackberry has been doing kind of bad via it’s sells and the heavy competition of Android and the great amount of apps in which itself in competition with Apple iPhone.

Dang this explanation is getting too wordy, lol.  Ok.  Short form, I wanted a new phone, blackberry is dying in users, I have never own an android phone, I am with T-mobile off contract, I get bad service with T-Mobile, to get a new phone at it’s full price or upfront payment and installments on a $500 phone, my cell phone bill is $92 a month (1000 mins, unlimited text, talk and device insurance), If I renew to get new phone with them, my bill would be $100, so I saw the HTC Evo 3D released on Sprint, I get a 20% off discount from my job for being on sprint, and with (450 mins, unlimited mobile to mobile to any company, unlimited text, data, web and device insurance and 4G service with Sprint my bill would be $80, also for going to Sprint you get $125 in service credit for switching from another company.

So with all that said, I love and forever will love my blackberry, but I had to leave T-mobile, a get a lower price cell phone bill ($92 is too much to be paying on a cell phone) and try to master the Android operating system.  So as a tech guy I am versatile in iPhone os, Blackberry os and Android os.  I know pretty how to operate and work any cell phone.  Oh yea, windows I know like the back of my hand.  Hopefully all this make sense and clears up any confusion.

Read the original post [I broke up with my girlfriend, now I’m on one?] to see how it ties together, and how my writing and word selection created a relationship outlook.  So I left my girlfriend for someone new that I don’t know in hopes to get to know her better, but still in I wanted to get simply go back to a blackberry from the android on Sprint.

Did I clear it all up for you?  Did you feel tricked by the original post?

Hard Decisions to Make Ahead

MATCHA: Makrokosma Bali, May 2011

There are so many things changing around me and I have some tough decisions to make.  Some may sound simple and quite logical, but I am really having a hard time putting my foot down.  Especially since some are in conflicts of interest.

– Leaving Tmobile to go to Sprint

– Buying a Tablet or New SmartPhone

– Looking for a new job

– Committing to a healthy relationship

– Making a purchase on an equipment you can’t fully afford as yet

Health Insurance Options

– Maintaining a reduced Budget to SUPER FAST get out of DEBT

– Researching on what to get my Master’s Degree in

There are quite a few more decisions to make, but those are what on my mind as of late.  I really like to be sure and very certain of things before making a decision since I have to live with the consequences.

Do you have any of these decisions to make?  Have you ever had to make any of these and it took you a while to make?
