I am not sure what will make the highlight reel for this year’s birthday.  I never know until it’s over what stand out the most of the day.  I usually plan for something epic to stand out, but it’s the small things that I remember the most.  I doesn’t matter if it was a coin falling to the ground, or the color an object, but it’s always something weird that I lash onto for every birthday.  I really wonder what this year’s highlight will be. hmmm????

What’s usually stands out for your birthday?  Is it an event, family, getting gifts, your Facebook or phone going crazy?

I usually never ever work on my birthday.  I don’t see the sense in it all.  It’s your day to celebrate life and be happy.  Most people’s job is very stressing or nosey people are there, or people just act a fool when it’s someone’s birthday.  Every year I try to stay clear of my job.  I do sometimes pop by to say hi, and jet out of there.  I actually have funny birthday story about one of my past jobs, but I will tell it at a later time.  It was one of the most funniest experiences I have ever had, and always a cool story to tell a new friend or so.

So on birthday, I plan to stay clear from my job, even though my birthday if it falls on a weekday, I end up starting my birthday off at work because of its timing.  Weird huh?  Though they might see me at the beginning they won’t catch me at the middle or the end.

Do you work on your birthday?  Do you ever have the balls/guts to say, hey boss I am not coming in, I am going to go party today?
