Freshening Up The Place

As of July 2, I have been adding and upgrading my blog. It’s my annual refresh and rejuvenation of my site and optimizing all my greatness accomplishments from the past year.

It’s the fun time of the year for me, well at least creativity wise, to see how I can push forth my blog to new heights and meeting more great friends and pals.

When updating its also important to clear all my comments and answer back everyone and create a new phrase of interaction with new followers as well as seek out ways in which I can help other fellow bloggers grow and be great.

This post is just a note to my friends and supporters of the blog that I am freshening up the place and adding all my sweet new goodies for all. I am even adding a newsletter and podcast, it’s that big of a new move to greatest. See you soon by the weekend and enjoy your 4th of July.

Thanks for reading

BELIEF

Belief is all I need to be great,
I stepped out of darkness and into the light,
I never had hate, but just faith,
To keep my thoughts from going a stray, so I will find my way.

Social Sundays: Poetry From The Heart

poet and poetry

So every sunday as part of my “Dream Summer” series I present “Social Sundays“.  It’s an interactive, fun, lifestyle and engaging series of random tidbits and social conversations.  I have been thinking up this idea for a while and couldn’t find anything that clicked.  Until one day I when my “Dream Summer” idea came to me, I was like, BAM, I got it.  I really want to speak with the world and share great thoughts, rich ideas, findings and more with everyone.  One of the super feature of this series is the ‘Taste of the Week” in which we all have a sweet tooth for something, we all want to find the new “it“.

Welcome everyone to “Social Sundays” your source of great conversation & musings my name is Richardo, and I am your curator and aesthete of art, life and colors.

“Social Tidbits

When did I start writing poetry and why?

At a young age, I found myself to fond of woman and the things that matters to them.  I think most of that came from my mother raising me to love and respect women, as how I loved her so dearly and thought of her as the best mom in the world.  I actually did tell her this all growing up, and mostly sometimes a week after a got a great big spanking and being taught a lesson, but hey I love my mom.  I am not sure why I squeezed that in there, but it’s relevant for the fact I loved the ladies, and but I was shy went I was young, so my note writing skills and charm from words were my best skills.  I had to perfect this skill to communicate in a unique way to the ladies and have them smiling and flattered by the words I wrote.  It did help a lot as well, that I was very comedic, passionate, and honest with my words.  I spoke and to this day still speak from the heart with my words.  I always say exactly what I mean, and work hard on never have

What is poetry to me?

Poetry to me is passion, honest and creativity all in one.  It’s your thoughts, it’s your expression, it’s your soul released through an art form for various purposes.  To me poetry was an escape and release of thoughts I never shared with others, for I don’t think they would really grasp my words, metaphors and style.  I knew what I wanted to say and in a certain fashion, and poetry allowed me to be myself.

I truly love to read poetry and wish to read more from books and blogs of people I can reach out to via I love the intimate feeling of conversing with them and gathering their point of view and passions.  I shall be reaching out to a few of my great friends (that what I call them) that writes the most fantastic poetry I ever read.  I love the old and most advanced writers our the past, but I want to be among the new and interact with the new and great writers of the present.

Be on the look out for my series The Raw Interview, the new age of media and interviews…
