Either way, think about anything of value, we use it in constant rotation.  Book wise, think Harry Potter, ZANE, or Twilight, and so also think movies such as romance comedies, we can watch them and love a zillion times based on an emotion or quantity of times it produce the same emotion or even better.  That’s what I think about when I think of a trilogy or a successful series, whether books, movies, or better yet tv shows.  It’s becomes a part of us.

So when I write or makes videos I want to achieve creating a feeling and emotion that you can take with you and make it part of you.  I want to give you what you need as well as entertain you as well.  So going into Day 3 of How To Publish A Book in 10 Days, I give a few tips and direction to go, and what bothers me, but offer my insight on what keeps me grounded and going to accomplish my goal.

MAJOR BUTT KICKING, How To Publish A Book in 10 Days

Kick Butt

So frankly there is going to be some butt kicking that needs to be done.  You are going to be surprised or not by whose butt is going to be kicked.  Well the hunt for the question is up, it’s me.  Well, at least if I don’t publish and produce a music album by January 31, 2013.

I am in the executive producer chair, and I am kicking my feet pulling out deadlines and release dates for projects to be completed without them really being started.  So I am starting my New Year‘s Declaration early, and want to complete and check off a few milestones early by forcing myself to complete them, in a good way.

I love the projects and ideas I am working as of late and sure would kick my own butt if I don’t deliver my creations to the world.  I am telling everyone and making it into a series to showcase my journey upon publishing my very first book as well as first debut music album.  It’s a big step into the right direction and I already issued the warning on a butt kicking if I don’t complete my mission.

Either way, watch out for my creation Art, Life & Colors by Richardo Wilson coming to you by January 31, 2013, as well as Elementz by RawMultimedia also releasing the same day.

Well the goal is to publish a book and produce a music album in 10 days.  That’s my challenge.  If you don’t believe me check out the video at Youtube.com/RawMultimedia.

Do you think I will accomplish this goal?

Have you published a book already?  have you ever wanted to publish a book?  Are you a big music fan?

Let me know you thoughts, ideas and opinions…I like to read and happy you share your thoughts with me.

To Be A Published Author, A Dream

I have at a time hated books.  I hated to read.  It wasn’t to say I wasn’t interesting to read, it was just at that time I felt most of the content were typical.  I felt the same story and angles were being used.  Now I feel the same way about films.  I still love film, just feel a lack of storyline is being used to be different.  I will get back to film another post, but books were my enemy.  Have you ever felt that way before?

In high school when I discovered Shakespeare, Toni Morrison and Maya Angelou is when it hit me, I love books.  I hate to have to go 0-500 pages of reading but I loved books.   I just hated reading them in school just to pass a test.

What intrigue me the most were the authors and their story.  I used to wonder what the author must have been thinking to capture an emotion and to keep you engaged within a story.  Why they choose a certain plot or how thought of their characters names.  So based off of those curiosities and the lack or void of certain storytelling, I wanted to be a published author.  I didn’t know how and when, but I knew before the end of my life (I later adapted to the fame term: Bucket List), I would like it noted and documented that I was a published author.

Streamline about 10 plus years later, I figured out my angle and stories I wanted to write and tell, it’s just the execution of it I was missing.  It was my goal to achieve this “Published Author” milestone in 2012, but sadly I failed at that, based on timing and a lot of pressure with other goals and milestones I wanted, but finally can say with certainty that 2013 will be the year I achieve a dream.

Who are you favorite authors?  Do you like to read?  Do you own a digital e-reader?
