Feeling Like I Am From Outer Space

Have you ever felt weird like you don’t fit in?  Or have you felt like you havent met the crowd of people that does the same thing you do?  Well thats how I have been feeling lately.

When working on my creative projects and having to do all the work myself and reviewing all the processes it takes to bring my multimedia works alive, I sit and think, where are there other people doing the same thing as me?  Also I think to myself, when will I work or collaborate with them and create some of the best works around?

I guess the other creative people around the world must also feel the same way as me, feeling like aliens.  I think we are aliens actually.  And I am on a quest to find other aliens as myself or in essence build my rocket spaceship and blast off into outerspace to the home of aliens.  I guess my creative projects are the parts to my rocket spaceship, and the more I do the more complete my ship to be ready and blast off.

What do you think?  Are you also an alien?

Writing Sabbatical

So here I am fresh of my writing sabbatical, I am looking around and my blog looks empty.  No shocker there, but then I saw a reflection in my computer screen and it was me, and I was pissed.  How the heck haven’t I written anything on my blog in almost a good week and a half?  That madness.  Then I took a look on my bed and seen couple of dents based on all the freedom I had jumping in it and sleeping and etc. then I changed my expression into a smile.

Sometimes you just need a time off from writing.  I was working on too many fronts managing an epic amount of work load, music album, independently publishing a book, and trying to writing scripts for my youtube channel and working on a short film.  I felt like I was exceeding words, so I shutdown.  I had been blogging for over 4 years consistently and since last year, I had enrolled in blogging everyday.  Yup I said it, 365, ouch.

Shutting down is sometimes good, and it refuel you.  You get to let out fresh thoughts and new perspectives and other elements of life that happen during your absent.  I am more than ready to fill in the blank, but guess what I am back.  I am ready to entertain and kick some blogging butt.

Have you ever taken a writing sabbatical?  Have you ever had writers block?

Thanks for reading

PS: I have also been reading.  I think I am addicted right now.  I think amazon is going to send me a nice bill with the books I am about to buy and have bought.  Also poor ol Barnes and Noble shall be seeing my face very often.

Call Me REAL EPIC or TOTALLY COOL

totally cool crazy epic

I want to be me, so I can’t be you,
I don’t want to walk in your shadow,
I just want to be me, but be cool,
Though it’s nice to be in the shade,
I want to see the sun,
Bright light in my eyes, time to have some fun,
I can be dramatic at times, a little loose with my words,
I like to call out nouns, of course I like doing the verbs,
Actions make motions, and being still is being ill,
So I power up my thrusters because I am going on in,
No one is in my path but crazy looneys that don’t want to believe,
I cry along my path, and if I get cut I will bleed,
But I shall patch up all my wounds and continue my mission,
I might not have a lot, but at least I have my ambition.
