Working Under The Hood of My Blog

Hurricane Irene

While it’s storming outside in my city (New York) I am working under the hood of my blog.  Hurricane Irene is causing chaos in the streets, and blowing things down and making our sunday a crazy sport of how much people it kept inside in the city that never sleeps.  If everyone is mostly safe, under the wrong circumstances of fearing for there lives and property via the hurricane, at least on the 7th day of week, we can rest and be together with out families (that’s if being with all your family under one roof is actually safe).

Either ways this stuck inside feeling and notion shall allow me to tear apart some things on my blog and build a better experience for my viewers and for me to navigate my blog even better.  There are couple things I had planned to add and take away from my blog.  So I figure why not list them and blog under my lights cut off if the flooding or chaos comes to that.

1. Respond to comments on my blog.

2. Add a list of blogs that I follow on my side bar as well as entertaining YouTubers I watch that I feel people who pass by my blog will enjoy.

3. Add a New Banner and Avatar for my blog.

4. Edit my video page for the update of new videos I have produced.

5. Add 4 of my personal friends blogs links on my sidebar who are big supporters ofmy blog.  I enjoy their blogs so I should linking to them and hopefully they shall link back to me will be a cool added feature.

Well this is just part one of my inter working on my blog.  I hope it makes a good addition to my blog.

What are things you need to do to your blog?  When last have you worked on changing up some things on your blog?

Hurricane who…

Hurricane Gilbert on September 12 at approxima...

I am definitely not a fan of hurricanes and the destruction they cause.  I always found it odd why people would choose to live near the coast line in areas and country they know is popular to hurricanes and natural disasters of the type.  It got me thinking that there is quite a few hurricane names out there when I saw someone post on Facebook a few names that has passed through the Caribbean.  I really don’t like hurricanes for the damage it does to property and my people.  Being from Jamaica, we are no strangers to hurricanes.  I remember when I was younger when me and my family got through hurricane Gilbert.  Those were some crazy visual.  It was just me and my cousin looking out the window of the intense rain and flooding.  That was so back in the days.

What do you guys think about the hurricane Irene on the east coast?  Are you in the upper east coast such as New York and so and think of its effects?

I have been in New York for a while and I have never experienced such a scare and preparation.  The world is definitely changing.

Did you feel it? The East Coast EARTHQUAKE…

Ummm what was I doing when the earthquake hit August 23, 2011?  I was in New York in my apartment watching Netflix on my PS3 while writing on my notebook in rocking back and forth in my so awesome chair and rocking my desk also.  Then all of a sudden everything started to shake harder and I thought wow did I do that? (steve urkel voice) and I started to brace the furniture to stop the shaking and it didn’t stop, I was like nah, it can’t be an earthquake.  I went straight to twitter on my phone (Twitter is REAL TIME news by the people if you didn’t know) and other’s were saying wow its an earthquake.  That’s all I needed as confirmation to be like dang, that was an earthquake what such madness.  Then a peeped outside as everyone gathers to gossip the earthquake, as I leaned back deep in my chair and continued to watch Netflix in attempts to fall asleep.

Facts:  It was an earthquake from VA that somehow stun and shook the whole East Coast almost.

So did you feel it?  What do you think this mean? What were you doing when it happened?
