It’s warm,
It beats,
It beats,
My heart,
It’s beating, Loving completely,
I live.

What do you think?
Sometimes we forget our heart is what keeps us living, and by it beating, we live to see another day, another day to love, another day to pray and give our praises to GOD. A beating heart is what we are.
Well where do I start actually? Oh yea the wet stuff right? Today I can encounter so much wetness I have ever seen before. Let me explain a bit. It’s not what you think it is, it about how much water and sweat I was left drowned in after my gym workout. Yea I know, not what you were expecting right? I was so shocked on how crazy I was going in the gym for my workout today. I was drenched, everything clothing on my body was almost soaked. I have never seen such epic moisture.
I guess it went well for my new addition to my workout of a thick sleeveless vest. I was so stunning in the gym. I saw so many people paying attention to my workout, and how great my arms look popping out of my shirt. It was a good feeling to have all eyes on me again. I think I starting to like my new stardom in the gym. The cool epic crazy guy with shades on must be the name they are going to use to refer to me, I don’t know. I would take and accept that, if that’s what they would call me.
But with another rainy new york day, I had no choice but to hit the bike in the gym to continue on my Cardio vs Carbs Challengeof no bread or rice for 30 days and doing a 10 mile run or ride 4 days of the week for a month. I am not very fond of the treadmill, but I go hard on the hardest settings if ever I have to use it or the bike in the gym so I burn the same amount of calories of its average user in a quarter of the time. For example, an average user go on the treadmill for 30 to 60 minutes and burn about 300 – 800 calories within the time based on their settings, in which I can burn in about 8-16 minutes. It’s not a bragging right or so for me, but I hate repetitive actions.
Anyways that’s my gym story. How are you working out lately? What is some of your favorite and most hated workouts?

Hi everyone, it’s Richardo here. If you are currently reading this and you are new to my blog, then you are soon to find out I live life to the fullest and I also challenge myself constantly to be the best I can be. Shout out to all my new subscribers and followers, and if you are not one, you should join the fun. 🙂 Nice plug right? I am sorry.
Either way, I want some awesome sexy abs and I have beenworking hard at it. But eating too much rice and bread can hinder that goal. Carbs can be evil. So evil I am excluded it out of my diet. I don’t want to but I have to. This is the most extreme challenge I have ever set myself for too this date. If you are from the carribbean such as myself (Jamaica) we eat big plates of food and rice and also hard dough bread from golden krust among other places. Rice is a crucial part of our meals.
So now you know NO RICE and NO BREAD is a big deal to me at least. Not only am I going for no rice and bread for 30 days, I am getting back into running and riding bikes too so I am adding a cardio fat burning factor to my challenge. I ride the bike at the gym, I go on the treadmill and I go running outside, to add to my cardio performance for my workout and weight loss, so I challenge myself to do 10 miles 4 days a week for 30 days. So that means 16 days of 10 miles runs or riding, on a moderate level.
Recently I have lost 11 lbs at the gym, and seeing success in my workouts. I have added so much intensity and various workouts that my body is confused and burning fat smoothly.
I hope I can beat this challenge. After the next 30 days I will let you know the results and the amount of weight or muscles I have gained from this challenge.
so…
No Rice or Bread for 30 days
and
10 miles (4 days a week)
*side note: The reason why I don’t go everyday for 10 miles, is because I need to rest my body and also I play soccer, basketball and tennis on the other days. I would be completely burned out.
A good diet and exercise equals weight loss and a healthy lifestyle.
Are you looking to loss some weight? Are you working out and eating effectively and to be healthy? Do you think I will win this challenge against myself?
