My New York City Lifestyle: I Never Seen It So Wet – [#MNYCL]

My New York City Lifestyle - rawmultimedia

Well where do I start actually?  Oh yea the wet stuff right?  Today I can encounter so much wetness I have ever seen before.  Let me explain a bit.  It’s not what you think it is, it about how much water and sweat I was left drowned in after my gym workout.  Yea I know, not what you were expecting right?  I was so shocked on how crazy I was going in the gym for my workout today.  I was drenched, everything clothing on my body was almost soaked.  I have never seen such epic moisture.

I guess it went well for my new addition to my workout of a thick sleeveless vest.  I was so stunning in the gym.  I saw so many people paying attention to my workout, and how great my arms look popping out of my shirt.  It was a good feeling to have all eyes on me again.  I think I starting to like my new stardom in the gym.  The cool epic crazy guy with shades on must be the name they are going to use to refer to me, I don’t know.  I would take and accept that, if that’s what they would call me.

But with another rainy new york day, I had no choice but to hit the bike in the gym to continue on my Cardio vs Carbs  Challenge of no bread or rice for 30 days and doing a 10 mile run or ride 4 days of the week for a month.  I am not very fond of the treadmill, but I go hard on the hardest settings if ever I have to use it or the bike in the gym so I burn the same amount of calories of its average user in a quarter of the time.  For example, an average user go on the treadmill for 30 to 60 minutes and burn about 300 – 800 calories within the time based on their settings, in which I can burn in about 8-16 minutes.  It’s not a bragging right or so for me, but I hate repetitive actions.

Anyways that’s my gym story.  How are you working out lately?  What is some of your favorite and most hated workouts?

Confidence and Commitment, And Dreaming Big

Dreaming the hours away

I believe to make it somewhere or to be that someone you always wanted to be you will need confidence and commitment.  I always try to help others be themselves and appreciate those who are already themselves and giving back to others who may need some inspiration.  For me to stay committed to a belief may be an easier task via my discipline and conditioned ambition to be great.  But at the end of the day it’s still a constant grind, not everyday will be your day, not every year will be that pivotal one, but the never giving up attitude and hard work does pay off in the long run.  Some people need more support and more belief from others, and the first step is to seek out others that does that.  Once you have a system and someone who believes, you should use that as your strength and break all barriers set before you.

“Be confident and commit to a goal.”

Here are a few I have done, and others people would like to aspire to do:

Be a better blogger/writer
Love more openly
No more cursing
Be more social
Write your first book
Go to the gym more often
Call a friend instead of texting
Try new things
Be a better listener
Help someone without wanting anything in return
Be less selfish
Be more supportive
Make the team
Find a great job
Graduate from school

We can all do something, but it all we need confidence and commitment to see things through.  This is just a reminder on life and without trying, how would we know if we would really succeed.

What are your thoughts?

Quickie: Thank You and I Love You

BLOG IDEAS
BLOG IDEAS (Photo credit: owenwbrown)

First and for most I want to thank everyone who has passed by my blog and decided to subscribe as of the last few days and weeks.  I check out pretty much everyone’s blog and drop comments, and likes all over their pages.  I am still trying to figure out blogging in its masterful form, as I see so much success in other blogs, and believe mines is small cake compared to theirs, but I appreciate everyone who reads and visits.

I have missed and shall be bringing back my “SUBSCRIBER INTERVIEW” on Friday, for I have been spending the end of each week and weekend focusing on publishing my first book independently.  It’s quite exciting and it is so much different from just logging on to wordpress or on the app and writing and being quite entertaining and insightful, as I actually have to worry about marketing, advertising, cover art, and distribution as well as being satisfied with my work as a whole.

So I spend my time reading, and checking out other’s blog to help support them and also work on bringing a rich experience to mines as well.  I really want to nail my goal of the year and reach 200 subscribers on my blog and being able to share my knowledge with you.

I appreciate everyone for following along and watch out in MAY for more great posts on fitness, health, beauty, art, reading, photography, my blog contest, and a few more surprises.

Thanks
Richardo Wilson
