How many days a week do you workout? Qotd 23

I workout about 3-5 days a week. I try to stay on task of 5 days a week so I am execute a more focus workout on specific muscle groups on certain days. Though many think you can only workout at the gym or need a gym membership, I feel they are so wrong. Exercising and working is a lifestyle and mentality of staying in shape, and healthy. A lot of people also workout incorrectly and just doing grunt workouts and not seeing the results they should. For those people I recommend watching youtube videos and practice practice to earn better results, or hire a personal trainer. If you are in New York, I recommend my good friend Avadean Lewis at www.avadeanlewis.com and watch his videos on www.youtube.com/fallen9370 who is a Natural Bodybuilder & Certified Personal Trainer.

Also you can watch one my favorite youtuber, DESTORM at www.youtube.com/destormtv

But I don’t just go to the gym, I work out outside a lot and play many sports including Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Tennis to add better gains and better fitness. So if you are in New York, and need a exercise buddy or a friend to play sports with, hit me up and see if we can work something out. Most of my workouts are done at the park, on the basketball court and tennis courts. I get real interactive and creative with my workout and I love it. I makes me feel so much lively. If you want to workout at home or don’t have any money for a gym membership, I would recommend you watch some youtube workout videos and buy these items to get you in shape….

1. Pushup Wheel (est. cost = $10 at modells, kmart, walmart, sports authority)
2. Resistance Band (est. cost = $10 at modells, kmart, walmart, sports authority)
3. Yoga Mat (est. cost = $20 at modells, kmart, walmart, sports authority)
4. (2) 10-20 lbs weights (est. cost = $20-$40 at modells, kmart, walmart, sports authority)
5. Jump Rope (est. cost = $7 at modells, kmart, walmart, sports authority)

Those at bare minimums I recommend that can having you looking good and help be healthy. Among playing sports and going to the gym, I also do Mind and Body exercise like pilates and yoga, which are very effective workouts to help with stretching, breathing and relaxation. Oh yea, I always forgot, remember keep a good diet and eating right, meaning food groups and nutritions such as vitamins, proteins, water and minerals are very important. Good Luck.

What did you have to give yourself permission to do? Qotd 2 – 3.2.10

Institute of Mental Health 7, Nov 06

I had to give myself permission to say no and keep my ideas & advice to myself. I love to offer support to positive people and people who wants to help themselves because I want people to be successful and do better in life, but the sad thing is that those are not the typical people I encounter that ask for help. I tend to meet the people who put on a show to say they are worthy but only in a situation to help themselves by taking advantage of others or have others do everything for them and not for themselves. So even though I could help a lot of people I had to tell myself it’s ok to say no even though you want to say yes, and keep to yourself. That’s one of life’s hard lesson I had to learn.
