POETRY ON HER LIPS, THE ART OF A KISS

art poetry kissing

Those rosy lips,
So far away,
But my eyes still captured,
I think to myself,
If my lips touches hers,
An art of words I would master,
The passion she has,
Will bring words to life,
The soul of her creation,
Would have us up all night,
Leaving refueled from an open mic,
As we shared words off of both our lips,
Our tongues create even a remix,
For we are now a duo,
So we created our own duet,
Of love,
Our love is poetry,
Created from just a kiss.

Question:  What was your favorite line?  Did you ever create art for a kiss?

HOW TO LOSE 30lbs [Fitness and Health]

I am happy to announce to myself that I am reached my milestone of losing 30 pounds lost as of today.  Sorry for this post being a bit one-sided, but I will fill you in a bit on how I lost it.  At a certain point in my life, I guess I was just doing a whole lot of eating, well wrong eating and I gained some weight.  I have always worked out all year around, but that’s not a solution of being healthy.  I would eat, exercise, play sports but I would not lose the weight, and at a point I felt trapped.  But my eyes started to open, my challenges and research got even better and I worked hard on my goal.  It took about two years and more to lose the entire amount, for I was doing many things wrong and only maintaining the weight.  I was simply stuck on one weight for almost 9 months until I decided to live better and change my habits.

Here are a few tips I learned to lose the weight.  Let me remind you, there was no shortcuts taken, no starving the body, no extreme diet pills taken or so on.  This was just natural and gradual wight lost.

First thing, stop watching what other’s do.  Everyone’s body is built different and not everyone is honest in what they do to lose weight.  If you are waking up today to just find out people tend to lie or hide their insecurities then I am glad you are now waking up for there is more learning you have to do.  So start to look at your body and figure out what are your trouble, injuries, where you lose weight the most at, what type of exercise you hate to do, for the more you know yourself, the better the planning.

Think of alternatives.  You know you have a sweet tooth, so think of all of the things you love to eat and the flavors and find low-calorie and fat-free foods that replaces all the foods you were eating.  Take me for example I love strawberry cheese cake, and I would eat a whole cake in say two days if you left me alone.  So there is yogurt on sale weekly with strawberry cheese cake as a flavor at only 80 calories, 6 ounce container, 6 grams of protein and only $.6o cents each.  So instead of an over a 1,000 or more entire cheesecake, you replace it is a healthier alternative, and add few extra food intake to other healthy foods to go with it such as bananas, apples and blueberries.  You don’t even have to go crazy.

Do not starve yourself or try to miss meals.  Try your best to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.  They don’t have to be big meals, but definitely eat.  Add a few snacks in between, an apple, a hand full of nuts, popcorn or a yogurt.  I mean everyone can’t eat the same things, but you should research those food you love and eat.  Try for 5 eats for the day, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, then get some rest.  Just try to keep around the 1500-2000 calories a day limit.

Sleep is vital to your health and fitness, you need sleep.  Please do not hit yourself with this term, team no sleep, for that will add you to the list of team soon to be injured, fatigue and other health problems.

Another tip, try to stay away from carbs.  I know it sounds like what those uptight health crazy people say, but it’s true.  Try for more light carbs.  And also try to only consume it by the early afternoon, but not late night.  So little to no rice, bread, breaded foods, cake, beer, alcohol, keep those on a very minimum.  If need some motivation look at your belly and ask yourself, how long do you want to keep it looking the way it is.

Avoid giving yourself unrealistic goals.  It’s a lifestyle you are working on, not a get fit quick method.  Work on goals such as 6 months or a year to develop a habit and lose a good amount of weight.

For the hard part, work out about 4 to 6 days a week.  Make 2 of those days cardio days with light weights.  You don’t have to have a gym membership.  You can pick up a sport like tennis or jogging, and find a park and work out.  You can also do it in your home if you have the space.  When working out, try to aim for an hour workout.

Think of simple things and goals.  3 sets of 20 reps of pushups, then the same with sit-ups, then 3 sets of 2 minutes of jumping jacks.  Workout every part of your body in set of muscle groups, and don’t over do it and try your best to avoid injury.  So push yourself to be better over a period of time and but be humble.

Other tips…

*) This is a lifestyle change, not a limited time offer to look better.  You have your whole life to live.  The further you go, the better you will feel, the more results you will gain and the better your life experiences will start to become.

*) Try to eat a fruit everyday or every other day.

*) After an intense workout day, always drink a protein shake to help refuel your muscles and energy.

*) Take multivitamins to help your body fill those gaps of minerals you don’t get from eating.

*) Research and keep tabs on your body and bad habits, and fight against them and peer pressure of others around you.  You need to be in a positive atmosphere.  Don’t be scared to ask for an opinion or help.

I know there is a lot of rules or tips, but these are rules everybody can follow to help lose the weight and be much healthier.

I am happy for my results and if you ever have any questions, shoot me a comment, tweet or facebook message and I would be glad to give you some pointers and point you to great health professionals I know that if you follow their guide, will lead you to a healthier lifestyle.

LIFE AS A WRITER

friendwhopoet

Everyday I am crafted words together to inspire myself and others.  I enjoy the interaction and the engagement I actually have with other writers and readers.  It’s funny how sometimes it is mostly with complete strangers, but lucky for me I am great at conversations.  How is your life as a writer?  How is your life as a reader?  When I read the words of others they set off triggers in my head to create something similar or relatable or just spark a new direction I yet tried to explode.  I tend to enjoy the micro blogs and secret huts of great art than the most popular blogs via I think the information tends to be too society and pop culture based and loses its true quality of being thought-provoking and intelligent.  Don’t get me wrong there are some that do a phenomenal job transcribing great pieces of work, but that’s not very common when you are reading from a writer’s perspective, via you know more can be done.

As a writer life is spent thinking of how to grasp concepts and to be myself the more I can and deliver interesting writings for others.  I look more towards voids in writing and how I can fill it.  I hate to follow the cluster, for I write to be real and direct as much as possible.  The world has many flaws, and it seems like only the sophisticated and well in-tuned sees and avoid being caught up in the mess.  I think I write for mostly those people, but I am trying to reach out to

Life as a writer, comes with a lot of judgement calls and constant search for things to write about.  It’s so bad for me, via I write often almost daily, with a new or refined outlook on many topics.

Here are my pains:

1) I tend to write on everything I see.

2) I am always writing on multiple platform (notepad, iPhone, tablet, bits of paper, letters, recipes and more)

3) Trying to find new ways to advertise and appeal to readers.

4) Late night writing at 3am in the morning.

5) Always asking myself, will this be that awesome new post.

6) How often should I self-promote in the real life than digital.

7) Taking a bite of food, having to wait a good 20 minutes to capture a concept before eating again (starving 🙂 )

8) Trying to read all my peers posts or as much as I can and support their efforts. (I honestly love them and their works.)

What are your pains as a writer?
