QUESTION IS

Denzel Washington

The question is,
Do I challenge myself?
How fast can I run?
Am I trying to be the best?
Do I get enough rest?
What matters to me more?
Is it my health?
Is it what other people think?
Can I really do this?
Matter of fact, why do I question myself?
Do I want it in the long run, or short-term is enough?
Do others judge me for how I achieve my goals?
Can I keep up this pace?
What would I do if I am ahead of the race?
Question is,
Do ask myself these questions each day?

I WANT TO BE ME.

He Loves Me Not

Love me not only when you are ready but everyday,
Love me not for only my beauty but my mind and the things I tend to say,
Love me not for just how I treat you, but how I treat the world around me,
Love me not because you want to be me, but because you love who I have become to everyone.

Loves me, loves me not

I know you want to love me being personal or me commercially sound,
Just know to love me for me for I always try to be my best, so hold me down.

Love me because you want to love me.

Of course, I think making love is cool,
But maybe, I don’t enjoy making love to you,

Of course, buying a Porsche is out of my price range,
But maybe, I am balling without a budget, YOLO,

Of course, I study for this important test to get into college,
But maybe, if I don’t go to this party and get drunk, I will be a virgin forever,

Of course, wearing a condom is smart,
But maybe, tonight I want to do something dumb,

Of course, work out and living a healthy lifestyle,
But maybe, I just want to pig out and be a pig and eat everything, YOLO

Of course, I should blog today and interact with my readers,
But maybe, I just want to post something and laugh at myself for doing so.

I love comedy, so I had to pay homage to Louis CK, after watching his HBO comedy special.  He is very funny and one of my favorite comedians.
