I am ready to get back in my annual hang outs and work outs in New York I do every year doing spring and summer time. I enjoy working out and having a good time and having great conversation, so I always have an open invitation to almost anyone who is laid back cool and not for no slackness to come out and have a good time.

I play sports 3 days a week, usually Wed/Thurs Morning or Afternoon, and Early Morning Saturday and Sunday between the times of 6 am – 12 pm.  The early bird gets the worm, or as I like to say, a good workout and FUN.

Soccer / Tennis / Basketball
Wed/Thurs or Sat or Sun
between: 6 am and 11 am
note*: I also workout outside with weights, resistance bands and more while playing sports.

GYM/Outdoor Workout
Almost everyday of the week after or before my sports workout
Mon – Sun (depending on the days)
between: 6 am and 11 am. sometimes I do afternoon sessions
note*: Some days I work out at the GYM (Bally Total Fitness or Outdoors doing Calisthenics, Yoga, Pilates and more)

So if you are interested in having fun and investing in good healthy workouts and lifestyle, you may hit me up to see if you can make it have fun.

If you would like to play Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, or just Workout on the courts, or at a park or at the gym, Feel FREE to hit me up and see what we can do.
I usually play in Co-Op City or a Pelham Bay Park, New York…very easy places to get to.  As long as you have access to the BX26 bus, BX28 bus, BX30 bus,  12 Bus, 2 train, 4 train, 5 train or 6 train you should be able to get to the locations.

Tumble Tuesday: No Gym, No Workout

Tuesday I made a tumble…I wasn’t feeling well and spent the entire day pretty much until I squeezed in this post very late, just in time for the postaday2011 I am doing.  I needed sleep and relaxation in a great amount.  It wasn’t a work day so I was fine, and the past days I was working extremely hard.  I deserved a day’s break but it killed my GYM A DAY for 30 Days challenge.  I am not going to count that day as a lost though.  If you are extremely sick and not feeling good, tell me are you really going to go to the gym?  I don’t think so.  Knowing me I would have still tried to prove a point not to anyone but myself.  The goal of GYM A DAY for 30 DAYS, is to warm up body for the spring season and be healthy and fit.  So I am doing a pretty good job.

So missing Tuesday would make it 11 days straight I went.  So I figure if I just restarted or doing a few double days that should make me even for missing one day and being sick.  What do you think?

How is your fitness currently?  Do think you need to hit the gym, well at least get on a workout schedule to better your health and fitness?  Have you are made a fitness challenge for yourself and stuck to it?

Bally’s at Bay Plaza Has a Heavy Boxing Bag, Again [Fitness]

I was so excited when I went into the gym today (February 23, 2011) to see a brand new, well appear to be brand new Heavy Boxing Bag at Bally Total Fitness that I go to.  The boxing bag was a key part of my weight loss in 2008 and 2009, and its was missing in 2010 in which messed with my abilities to loss a good amount of weight and upgrade my fitness potentials.  Now that I see that the Boxing Bag is back, not sure for how long, I got to take advantage of it and “Bring The Pain” to my new workout routine which involves, a mixture of Mixed Martial ArtsCalisthenics, Yoga, and Pilates.  I also use couple other routines to mix up my workouts, such as active sports such as Basketball, Soccer, Tennis and exercise program as South Beach Diet Workouts and P90x.  It’s a very tough road I got to go for my fitness, but I am glad to add back boxing to my routine in 2011.  Let’s see what it does for me.

Just a little info…When usually hit the gym, I do 10 minute warm ups and stretches, then jump in on 20 mins on the Heavy Bag, then do Calisthenics and Shadow Boxing for 20 mins, then back to the Heavy Bag for 10 minutes, then hit the Cardio on the Manual Bike and Ellipticals then work on ABS and Core work, then into Stretching and Breathing (mixture of Yoga and Pilates) then back to Cardio, then into Mix Martial Arts & Calisthenics, then Weight Lifting or which ever Muscle group I am working on for that day…

I usually do this about 4-6 days a week.

If you want any beginner tips feel free to ask in the comments.
