It’s April fools,
Welcome to the jam session,
I am nothing in this world,
Without my ambition,
I pity a fool,
Who tries to clown me,
I would be like,
Damn, Daniel,
You always on four feet,
You are a cocker spaniel,
A low down dirty dog,
So please save the jokes, folks,
Then again it’s only one day a year,
If the bear ain’t watching,
Go ahead and poke.

You saw me standing,
Alone,
You came by,
You mumbled a few words,
Then said bye,
Before leaving,
You laid your hand on my shoulders,
I couldn’t hold back my tears,
What you said was everything,
And will be remembered for the rest of my years.
