“My mind calls to me aloud all the time while I think, better yet it records my every thought and feelings I want to be expressing, saves them all in a box just for those so call raining days, But every time do something that’s on mind people claim that I change, I am just trying to be me” – Richardo A Wilson
(note: alternative title I was first going to use Treasure Box of Thoughts)
I know people are always arguing about how there is so much sex on TV, but still we condone it. We look for the selling power of a product based on the fact that not much things out there are true and we need that common ground of what is sexy or attractive to sell us on a product. Yes I know some of us are parents or religious people and must protect our children and beliefs, but once you past a certain age group, and assume adulthood, we throw the rule book out the window.
Be honest to yourself, when you were a kid growing up, you craved the things you know were not good for you and what your parents said not to do, just to have the experience to say I tried it and this is how I feel about it. Today’s generation will also follow suit via history repeats itself. There are things that change plenty such as technology, fashion and which celebrity is hot now compared to last month, but there are things that same the same, toilets, life and death, and sex. It’s just the things that our society goes for.
So as a woman you want beauty, you want attractiveness, so you look for what is sexy and what everyone likes to gain attention. As a man we want to be popular, wearing and sporting the latest and greatest, so we seek what is in demand and we need visuals to sell us on this product.
I love the peace of mind and comfort of working through the night. It’s peaceful, everyone is a sleep, it’s my free space to let me mind wonder and be creative. Though most people struggle through a long day of work at a 9-5 or so on, and to spend the night time editing is quite a bust for them, but I welcome the feeling. It’s a delight to see my creative creations get fine tuned and come to life overnight and I can blossom with delight throughout the next day. Now having gotten no sleep, yea we tend to get a bit cranky in the early morning but that’s a easy cure for a bagel in the morning with coffee or tea and hit the gym and boxing out all your aggravation on the boxing bag and be energized to head to work and try to be productive and pleasant to everyone.
For me my late night editing consist of writing blog posts, editing videos and organizing my data on my computer while backing them up. Oh yea, you can throw a bit of photo editing in their too, sometimes I forget I am a photographer and should do that.
Shout out to all the photographers, writers, editors, video makers and bloggers who spend that extra time to work on their craft and try to produce the best works they can.
If you do late editing what do you use the time to edit? What is the best and worse feeling about late night editing?
