It came down to the last draw based on the events of epic portion I am selling my camera.  I have been thinking of an upgrade for far too long and now believe in taking the steps to further my future passions and career.  So I am saying goodbye to my Canon Rebel and starting my epic jump to my Ultimate Goal of 2011 which is the Canon T3i.  I have thought of it quite hard and believe I might take it even further and go full on for the Canon 70D, no more kiddie games.

I have been a well skilled intermediate all-star for far too long and now taking control and making the epic investment being a Creative Professional in my photo and video equipment.  So as of today the goal is to shoot as much photo shoots or more with my Canon Rebel in July and create a creative photo challenge, and sell my camera or get rid of it in the beginning of August to scare myself into working super hard to replace in and purchase my new ultimate camera by September 2011.

I hope I am ready for this crazy monster challenge and move in my life to start to get moving.

Do you like photography?  Do you own a DLSR?  What brand of cameras do you like?

Tumblr: The Unspoken Truth – Don’t Talk About TUMBLR

Image representing Tumblr as depicted in Crunc...

The users of Tumblr are a very serious bunch.  They have created rules about they world of blogging.  The number one rule of Tumblr is to NOT TALK ABOUT TUMBLR.  I find it to be a very weird rule.  But in the minds of it’s prime users, its a double edge sword.  They want you to visit their blogs and they will tell you to visit their blogs, but you are not allowed (or they will hurt you down and hate you) if you judge them on their choice of posts on tumblr.

My take on Tumblr.  Tumblr is a pretty cool blogging network of people that are very visual and expressive.  Tumblr is the Twitter of the blogging world, in which you follow the people who post the things you like to see.  Tumblr is what Twitter could of been if it was to compete with Facebook.  Tumblr to me, is filled with copyright infringement media and porn.  Tumblr may claim more views than other blog services such as WordPress, Blogger, Typepad, LiveJournal, but it’s value for words and content is not there.  Tumblr has a hard time to be indexed into Google based on its very much overly used reblog feature of content and lack of originality, with it’s primary users re-blogging very explicit photos and other self promotional content (in which is considered more of duplicated content and spam).  Tumblr is more a perfect setting for the younger crowd to express themselves and what they actually enjoy seeing, though not wanting to be judged on their likes.

So the question is do I have a Tumblr?  Why yes, but for me to use it, I rather create something original and rich of content than follow the crowd of unoriginal re-noters, re-bloggers, and more…Please note there are amazing blogs and content by people that uses Tumblr as their main blogging platform, but it’s very hard for them to be noticed based on the overcrowding of spam and not being able to greatly be indexed into google and other search engines.  Also being side tracked by other reblogging the same exact popular posts and failing to including new and amazing posts.  Also haters too.

I love WordPress, and it’s my number one blog service of choice.  But you be seen you can always share your writing (aka distribution) to other places and services.  Always remember to back link your WordPress post as the original writing.  Hopefully I can bring some awesomeness to Tumblr.

What do you think of my post?  Do you have a Tumblr?  Do you use WordPress, Tumblr, Blogger more than the other.

Attachment

I don’t get attach to people relatively quick, I know too much about people and how emotions work. I don’t know how female does it or is there is a bond or intimate feeling from just words that just make them make that leap.

I am not saying men can’t get attached to a woman based on just conversation. I would bet some females have some stories about jealous guys or stalkers to tell. But in reference to me, I love a great conversation and share thoughts, feelings, and positive energy, but I know not to get attached to others.

I am thinking people don’t have much experience of goodness to know how to better manage how to know what is a good bond and its longevity so they just leap at the moment or person that has shiny sparkles of something they never had and feels because that person never did wrong before is a stay bet. People change and they do that often without even knowing. So always have a safe guard, don’t commit to early until you have a great deal of experience.

To tell you the truth, someone being attached to me too quickly without testing the waters and bond, and really getting to know me for me being me over a period of time is a huge turn off.

There is a way to let go and free while keeping your caution. To the ladies and even men out there, the best way be good in any situation is to know yourself, love yourself and use more logics over emotions and not get those things twisted. Always test things out first to see if it is the best fit, never commit then regret.

Are you overly emotional? Do you get attached to something good or seems good too easily? How well do you know yourself?
