I made it to my year’s goal of reaching 50,000 views on my blog. I am so super stoked. I have been writing and posting everyday and felt so great re-entering the blogging world as I wasn’t blogging like I planned to when I started my blog here on wordpress. What’s crazy for me though is my growth in views and how much smoother I was finding my blogging voice and creative writing style. Technically I reached 50,000 views on August 1st, 2011 and went on to reach 60,000 views just 10k more within just 18 more days thanks to posting correctly and tagging well. I am so proud of myself and very much excited to continue down the road of posting everyday in the year to complete my next big goal yet of posting 365 days of the year.

I don’t think I would of reached this goal on any other blog platform than wordpress and with the great support and features they offer. I am a blogger forever and #teamwordpress for life. 🙂

I do hope to meet other bloggers and have meetups and great relationships as time goes on. I want to also thank everyone who ever swung by my blog or said hi, especially my subscribers (aka friends), it is because of you that keeps me motivated and that I contributing to a community and a way of life.

Mindful of Thoughts

think inside the box
think inside the box

“My mind calls to me aloud all the time while I think, better yet it records my every thought and feelings I want to be expressing, saves them all in a box just for those so call raining days, But every time do something that’s on mind people claim that I change, I am just trying to be me” – Richardo A Wilson

The Weekend Blues

I think I am coming down with the weekend blues. Its when the weekend is here and you got no plans on what to do. Surely no one really wants to have a boring weekend after having a long and hard week of work. Well hopefully I could find something to do. I might have a little amount of cash I can blow somewhere at something.

The ideas for this weekend to keep me from going crazy are:

1. Working out playing soccer and doing some yoga.

2. Going to the movies. (I want to see 30 minutes or less, even though I don’t like 1hr 23min movies, but maybe it will be a quick and good laugh at admission price$6)

3. Going to the city with my camera and exploring. (Manhattan is such a delight on weekends if you stay away from the 2 train and 5 train in the bronx. The South street Seaport is a nice place at the end of the summer especially with a drink from Pacific Grill.)

4. Watching some Netflix or Rent from the Redbox. (There are couple movies I missed I can catch up on.)

As for group ideas:

5. Going bowling. (I missed trying to throw 3 strikes in a lane, as people already knows I am a beast on Wii Bowling. Lol)

6. Going shopping. (Who can really turn down shopping if you have a little change to blow. Just getting an item is good enough if its something cool.)

Either way, as much as there are possibilities of things to do, after a long week of work, nothing beats sleeping the weekend and catching up on some reading. Yup a said it, being a lazy bum. Sometimes you just got to do it. You worked hard for it.

Have a happy weekend everyone.

What are your options or choices for fun on the weekends? Do you have the weekend blues too?
