I am a Flirt

The Flirtation
Image via Wikipedia

Ever since I was a young guy back in the days of Jamaica, I have been a flirt.  I love the ladies.  It’s funny because I think I picked up this charming charisma from listening to too much Beenie Man songs.  I think that’s why he is my favorite artist of all times.  Beenie Man had so many songs about girls (Gal Dem Suga, Nuff Gal, Girls Dem Way, Old Dog, Doctor etc…), and how he is ladies man and I just ran with it.  I use to be quite shy, but now I flirt all the time.  I mean I do know how manage it and if I was in a relationship that part does get shut down, but it’s like a natural behavior of mines.  It’s the way I talk and approach females that makes it so cool.  I am quite smooth too.  Even on the phone, I am awesome when I want to be.  I could just know that the girl on the other line is blushing and having a smile on her face.  I usually don’t flirt to try to seduce a girl or try to go out with her, but to make her feel great and appreciated, and also to know there are very nice guys out there.  So to all the lovely and sexy ladies in the world, when you meet me, I might flirt with you, and trust me you are going to like it.

Do you flirt with others?  Are you able to not give in to someone’s flirting?  Do you think flirting with others is cheating if with someone else?

I don’t want to be her first, heartbreak

A heart being used as a symbol of love. Photo ...
Image via Wikipedia

Lately with the essence of romance in the air, or whenever it decides to come around, I always thought back to my earlier childhood days and philosophy of not wanting to break a girl’s heart.  Heartbreak is a terrible experience especially your first.  Some people may be prepared if counseled by someone who have been through or going through it, but for all others, we unknowingly race full speed ahead into the destruction of our hearts.  I use to say to my friends when dating, if a girl never been in love before, or been broken down within a relationship, I couldn’t date her because I didn’t want to be her first.  Relationships don’t always work out, just as how marriages don’t always work out whether it’s within a month or even 10 or more years down the line, you just never know sometimes what the heart wants.  The heart is such a tricky little machine and holds so much power to our well-being.  So imagine just something called LOVE, can affect our lives forever or changing our way of thinking, and make us do crazy things we couldn’t imagine ourselves doing such as: not eating, not sleeping, crying day and night, walking with a frown everywhere, getting fat, being restless, becoming stalkers, causing other mischiefs, and so much more because of a heartbreak.  Luckily for me I had the will power to overcome my heart breaks and maintain a balance stance with myself, but not everyone is that lucky.

If you are going through a heartbreak, well here are some remedies if applied well, and some goodies of song titles to check out, most notably checking yourself into the HEARTBREAK HOTEL, or some Toni Braxton Unbreak My Heart, or onto listening to some 808’s and Heartbreak via the talented Kanye West.

A few remedies:

1. Keep yourself busy, stay away from crying by placing yourself in places where you can’t cry.  But do try to cry it out your system before keeping too busy, because it might sneak up on you.

2. Share your feelings, confide in a trusted friend and share your views.  Get out a good rant and vent is always a good thing to a new begin and accepting what have happened.

3. Take good care of yourself, don’t abandon yourself, most people place themselves in a dump after a breakup, but avoid that and seek help you to recover and be healthy.  Do things you enjoy and love, and treat yourself well.

If you are not going through a heartbreak, then I bet you can think back on the craziness that you had went through and be happy you are over and above it.  Remember, don’t hold onto pain, just release and let go and be happy.

I guess we must go through it one day in our lives, just as failure, we must overcome and prevail, but I just don’t want to be a girl’s first heartbreak, it would break my heart to hurt her.  I just want to love, and love plentiful.

So, Do You Love To Lie?

Buddhist Scriptures Unread

Lying is always wrong!  Let’s me rephrase that…Lying is necessary in life.  We can’t all be honest or be honest with everything, we need to lie sometimes.  I mean I don’t practice lying, but surely I at least lie to myself once in a while.  Ok, I am lying right now, I lie to myself ALL THE TIME…gosh you got it out of me.  I don’t lie to others though.  I try to avoid all situations in which I have or might have to lie to someone.  Consider my technique, I “Ninja’d” myself from the situation.  Ninja is a technique or a phrase I enforce as an action verb to mean how I stealthy did something.

For example, “John asked me if I wanted to go to the bank with him, but I Ninja’D a lie about me having too much paper work to do to go with him.”

Or another example, “I watched how Jenny Ninja’D out of doing the dishes after dinner last night, by sneaking out the door to go to work.”

Anyways, back to lying.  I hate lying, but if lying was necessary to save your life or someone’s else life, I think you can be forgiven for that, if you admit to lying down the line.

Here are couple lies I don’t like:

1. Lying that you don’t got the money you owe me.
2. Lying to get out of work, when you really could have came in.
3. Lying that you haven’t stolen from me. (Those deserve a straight punch in the face, maybe even a beat-down or some handcuffs, 🙂 )
4. Lying to you parents. (Come on, really, you going to lie to your moms?, well your pops I can understand)
5. Lying to a girlfriend or boyfriend that you ain’t cheat. (Come on, own up stop lying, take it like a man, umm or a woman)

Well there are many other lies out there, but hey, I can’t list them all.  But anyways I lie, but I lie to myself.  Then again I try to validate my lies, in hopes to make them true.

Here are my favorite lies, or lies I tell myself:

1. I can work 3 days straight without feeling tired.
2. I don’t need to sleep today.
3. I can do XYZ that many more push ups today.
4. I can pay off this credit card by the end of the year
5. I can lose 5 lbs in 2 days…(umm sorry this one was very much proven it can be done, I thought I would let you know, :))

My lies motivates me.  Also when someone lie to me, makes me so much more cautious and curious at the same time and just as much motivated to uncover the lie.

What is your favorite lie?  Do you love to lie? Do you feel lying is necessary?
