My New York City Lifestyle: I Never Seen It So Wet – [#MNYCL]

My New York City Lifestyle - rawmultimedia

Well where do I start actually?  Oh yea the wet stuff right?  Today I can encounter so much wetness I have ever seen before.  Let me explain a bit.  It’s not what you think it is, it about how much water and sweat I was left drowned in after my gym workout.  Yea I know, not what you were expecting right?  I was so shocked on how crazy I was going in the gym for my workout today.  I was drenched, everything clothing on my body was almost soaked.  I have never seen such epic moisture.

I guess it went well for my new addition to my workout of a thick sleeveless vest.  I was so stunning in the gym.  I saw so many people paying attention to my workout, and how great my arms look popping out of my shirt.  It was a good feeling to have all eyes on me again.  I think I starting to like my new stardom in the gym.  The cool epic crazy guy with shades on must be the name they are going to use to refer to me, I don’t know.  I would take and accept that, if that’s what they would call me.

But with another rainy new york day, I had no choice but to hit the bike in the gym to continue on my Cardio vs Carbs  Challenge of no bread or rice for 30 days and doing a 10 mile run or ride 4 days of the week for a month.  I am not very fond of the treadmill, but I go hard on the hardest settings if ever I have to use it or the bike in the gym so I burn the same amount of calories of its average user in a quarter of the time.  For example, an average user go on the treadmill for 30 to 60 minutes and burn about 300 – 800 calories within the time based on their settings, in which I can burn in about 8-16 minutes.  It’s not a bragging right or so for me, but I hate repetitive actions.

Anyways that’s my gym story.  How are you working out lately?  What is some of your favorite and most hated workouts?

My New York City Lifestyle – When Nature Calls, In My Pink Bejeweled Headphones – [#MNYCL]

My New York City Lifestyle - rawmultimedia

Another day in the city of mines, I have been busy.  I been moving and grooving with tunes beating in my eyes.  Mostly the tunes of old school R&B songs and lots of 1990‘s songs and early 2000‘s, beating loudly through my pink bejeweled headphones.  Yup, there was no error there, I said it, pink bejeweled headphones.  I get a lot of eyes from the guys and girls, on the train, on the bus, out in public, at the gym and at path-mark when I stroll through loving my music and singing along.  I love spring time.  More people, more eyes to see me do the things I like.

I been out a lot lately via its nice out in New York City, where the women are dressing more sexier and a bit too revealing also.  Since it’s spring I am more active and more much busy.  But when nature calls, I must answer.  I have big dreams, and I want to meet so many new people.  Do you want to meet me?  I actually want to meet you.  Maybe we can go grab a cup of coffee, go see an art gallery, or just go sight-seeing in New York City.  If you are ever around, hit me up (twitter.com/rawmultimedia).

My words to you.  Go out and enjoy the weather.  Read a book.  Learn something new.  Nature is calling you.  Do you hear it?

My New York City Lifestyle [MNYCL] – Rainy Days

My New York City Lifestyle - rawmultimediaRainy Days in NYC is always a weird experience, as mentioned before it is the city that doesn’t sleep, and also a city that don’t like when the weather blocks us from being super active and cause more friction to our hectic days working to make it (costly taxes from the state and expensive living).  Just recently we have been hit with a series of rain falls, and oh boy how I hate the rain.  I mean I like it on a Sunday afternoon, where I can lay up in the house watching netflix or play some video games and beat down some noobs, but oh no, not a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or especially a Friday.  The first 3 days of the week are usually the busiest and most productive and also everyone can’t wait to make past “Hump Day” in which is Wednesday if you haven’t heard the term before, in which I had to learn myself.

Let’s get back to the rainy days, I like to be outside and every nature and it’s surroundings, more oxygen to breathe in, cool air and places I can go without an umbrella and snap photos.  Being a photographer, I like to go with a bit of ease to my days, for I am quite the workaholic (not in the way you may think, more of a progression towards my dreams) in which I work everyday to create I world of happiness I can be around.  So crappy rainy days are things I sort of avoid.  It’s just too many layers to worry about to make it to the gym or go a friend’s house and lounge in their couch or just hop around and do ton of fun possible things in the city.

Are you an active person?  Where are you from, urban or rural?  Do you like rainy days?

Oh yea, a funny thing about rainy days is that, the drivers in New York City are reckless and don’t cater to the people at the bus stop such as myself, (lol for taking the bus) via they are all about getting to their next destination quick (no patience) in which if you are near and puddle, you better stare clear for you can and will get wet, and for the fashionable new yorkers, who don’t wear much clothes, umm you day will transform into a hell of a day.  I guess because of all the bad things that can go down in the city and again unfair high taxes we have to pay, I can see why new yorkers are mostly mad and looking angry, go figure right?
