New York City is filled with very aggressive people, it’s just the way it is. There is so many competition around, so that the only way to survive is to compete and dominate. Not only are New Yorkers a bit competitive, but they are also cocky and a bit selfish. Don’t get me wrong, not everyone is that way, that’s why it’s important who you align yourself with. Not everyone has the same mentality and only the rare breeds in the city don’t think only for themselves and actually more for building a community and supporting each other. If you ever come to New York City, make sure you look out very carefully for those elite people. Most likely, they won’t all the flashy and expose in public but move silently at night and get things accomplished.
I am happy to say I am on of the rare breeds in the city, and always want to work with the most talented, creative and hard working people. Not everyone is great and creative, but having that determination and hard-working mentality will get you very far.
What can I say but I love all the sexy women in the world. Upon shooting a music video for a client, I was definitely posted right in the land of sexy women. I was by the beautiful west side highway by Riverside Park, well about 50 blocks away at least. I love to see people outside doing their thing and being themselves. I like to go out and enjoy all types of culture and people. If you ever get a chance to visit New York or if you already here, please go to the west side by the water and see the visual of the New Jersey across the water. It is one of the best places to go and relax and watch the men and women working out. When I went so many lovely ladies were doing thing, running and getting in shape and men riding bikes to build their fitness. I will share with you the music video when I finish editing it on my YouTube channel for a song titled “Emotions”.
It’s one of goals this year to tour random areas in New York City. I want to under all gems both in the daytime and nighttime in which brings to my late night visits to the East Village to go poetry, photo and video work in the area and also at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe. I am also a current proud member of the institution of expression for so many talented people and the history it bestows. Well making my trip there and back home walking to the 6 train, I try to walk down a different block each time to discover cool locations for future photo shoots and etc. Upon doing so and walking towards Bowery Street, I found some nice visuals in which I am glad to share with you. I hope you like and enjoy.

Well where do I start actually? Oh yea the wet stuff right? Today I can encounter so much wetness I have ever seen before. Let me explain a bit. It’s not what you think it is, it about how much water and sweat I was left drowned in after my gym workout. Yea I know, not what you were expecting right? I was so shocked on how crazy I was going in the gym for my workout today. I was drenched, everything clothing on my body was almost soaked. I have never seen such epic moisture.
I guess it went well for my new addition to my workout of a thick sleeveless vest. I was so stunning in the gym. I saw so many people paying attention to my workout, and how great my arms look popping out of my shirt. It was a good feeling to have all eyes on me again. I think I starting to like my new stardom in the gym. The cool epic crazy guy with shades on must be the name they are going to use to refer to me, I don’t know. I would take and accept that, if that’s what they would call me.
But with another rainy new york day, I had no choice but to hit the bike in the gym to continue on my Cardio vs Carbs Challengeof no bread or rice for 30 days and doing a 10 mile run or ride 4 days of the week for a month. I am not very fond of the treadmill, but I go hard on the hardest settings if ever I have to use it or the bike in the gym so I burn the same amount of calories of its average user in a quarter of the time. For example, an average user go on the treadmill for 30 to 60 minutes and burn about 300 – 800 calories within the time based on their settings, in which I can burn in about 8-16 minutes. It’s not a bragging right or so for me, but I hate repetitive actions.
Anyways that’s my gym story. How are you working out lately? What is some of your favorite and most hated workouts?
