I am so excited to have won tickets for two to see Big Boi (one half of Outkast), my favorite Hip-Hop group of all time. I am so excited and I just wanted to share this moment, and opportunity. Of course you know I am bringing my Video Cam and I am dressing up nice and going in… I don’t recall me ever going to see and artist perform or to meet people who might be in the music industry and mingle and check out a live event. I got to start doing this more often, without FREE tickets. 🙂

hey man,my name is lavonn and i do security at irving plaza,just wanted to let you know that they will not let you bring a video camera in the venue and if you somehow try to sneak it in we will catch you using it inside and make you check it in.
if its a small digital cam then thats cool but if its a camcorder or one of those handheld HD cams then its not allowed.

it’s weird how you found my blog post, but if this really true, thanks for the info. It won’t be a big camera, its a simple cam to capture minor clips or photos of the experience, then again I have my cell phone, hopefully that doesn’t cause any issues. I am just there to enjoy myself and follow instructions. Thanks for comment.
